Windsor Wedding Watch

Windsor Wedding Watch: this page is dedicated to watching the House of Windsor which is full of activity on the romance and wedding bells front. After all they do have within their clan some of the most eligible bachelors in the world, as well as some beautiful and eligible “bachelorettes”. So what has been happening under the roofs of the House of Windsor?
Windsor Wedding Watch: Second Marriages

Of course we have all heard about Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles who married on the 9th April. There romance has endured above all else and even though a great fan of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, I wish them both well and every happiness.

It now remains to be seen whether Prince Andrew and Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson, who separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996, will remarry. Neither has been successful in any subsequent long-term relationships. The couple will be under the same roof again when they move into the Royal Lodge, in the vicinity of Windsor Castle, once the late Queen Mother’s country home. I suspect England is not ready for another royal marriage this year – look out for Spring 2006.

Windsor Wedding Watch: The Royal Princes

There has been much publicized activity surrounding the Royal Princes. It would appear, as was Sophie Rhys Jones prior to marrying Prince Edward, that Kate Middleton is being groomed for a future with Prince William and the royal family. Is it significant that her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, have been received at Highgrove, Prince Charles and Camilla’s residence?

Despite reports to the contrary Prince Harry, now ensconced at Sandhurst, is not going to have the time to pursue a serious relationship with Chelsy Davy. Over the next twelve months we will see if their romance will endure his punishing regime.

Windsor Wedding Watch: The Royal Princesses

Things are “hotting” up between Zara Phillips and her rugby star Mike Tindall. Living together, they also have three dogs. Baby next then marriage? This would not be a surprising move for unconventional Zara.

More conventional Princess Beatrice has kept under the radar as far as a boyfriend is concerned, happy to let her parents take the spotlight. However, her non-princess step-cousin Laura Parker-Bowles has moved in with boyfriend of eight years Harry Lopes. Camilla and Prince Charles have been entertained by Harry’s parents, George and Sarah at the Lopes holiday home – a sign of an engagement to come?

Windsor Wedding Watch: Other

In the mean time her Laura’s brother Tom Parker-Bowles is set to marry Sara Buys. Good friends of both the Princes’ William and Harry, and having Prince Charles as a step-father, it will be somewhat a royal affair.
